Archived: Three Injured in Rural Stearns County Crash

Three people are injured after a two car crash in rural Stearns County. It happened at 7:30 Wednesday morning in the Brockway Township, just east of St. Stephen. The Stearns County Sheriff’s Department says 19-year-old Paul Plombon of Rice made a left turn onto County Road 5, into the path of an oncoming car, causing a collision. There were two people in the other car, a 41-year-old Sauk Rapids woman and her 8-year-old son. All three people involved in the crash were taken to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. The Sheriff’s office says all parties were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
