Archived: Track Teams Show Well

 Three Huskies won individual titles, while the men’s and women’s track and field teams posted third and sixth place finishes, respectively, at the Wisconsin-River Falls Invitational Saturday.


Kevin Andresen won the 1500 meter race, Tendeh Brownell won the 100 meter event with a time of 11.04 seconds and Becky Schmidt won the long jump with a leap of just under 18 feet.

The host school, UW-River Falls, won the men’s team title while Winona State took home the women’s crown.

The track and field team will sprint back into action on April 21st at the Warrior Open in Winona, MN.
