This Saturday the Tri-County Humane Society is having their 23rd Annual Companion Walk, an event they’re branding as “Woofstock.” This is their biggest event of the year, last year they raised $55,000 in donations and they’re trying to top that this year.

Community Outreach Manager, Merit Ortega says there will be a lot of fun stuff to take part in such as crafts, games, fun for pets and kids, food, and more.

Ortega adds that the money raised at the event will help support neutering, spaying, and other needs at the shelter. The Companion walk put on by the Tri-County Humane Society, is Saturday in Wilson Park. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and it’s free for everyone.
