St. Cloud Police are now releasing information of an alleged case of child abuse that was reported August 8th.

Police went to the home of two 22-month-old children who live in the 400 block of 15th Avenue Southeast, after a witness reported seeing the children with injuries consistent with abuse.

23 year old Joshua Jon Peterson, the father of children, was arrested after allegedly striking and biting the children multiple times in the face.

Peterson was taken to the Benton County Jail and the children placed in protective custody.
