Two walks for charity are scheduled in central Minnesota this weekend. Saturday, the 8th Annual St. Cloud Arthritis Walk will be held at the CentraCare Health Plaza. The goal of this nationwide event is to raise money for arthritis, which costs the US economy $128 billion each year. Registration for this event begins at 8:00 am. The walk begins at 9:00am.

Then on Sunday, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is hosting Walk MS at Discovery Elementary School in Waite Park. Also a nationwide event, money rasied through this walk helps fund vital multiple sclerosis research projects all around the world. Check-in for this event is from nine to 10 am. Walkers may begin after they check in. There is no pledge minimum for Walk MS, but participants are required to raise pledges.
