It’s a sure sign of the times. Two local media outlets are joining powers to help each other out. St. Cloud State’s student-run TV station, UTVS, is partnering with the St. Cloud Times. The St. Cloud Times now features UTVS news pieces on its website, which, in turn, will likely increase exposure of UTVS. The partnership allows the two media outlets to share ideas and information as well.

The St. Cloud Times says student reporters at UTVS have been trained on the standards, procedures and ethical principles expected at the Times. John Bodette, executive editor of the St. Cloud Times, says everything he’s seen so far from UTVS has been “very professionally done.”
