Archived: Volleyball Splits in Wisconsin

It was an up and down weekend for the Saint Cloud State volleyball team as they won twice and lost twice at the Wisconsin-Parkside tournament in Kenosha. The tournament started off rough for SCSU as they dropped the first two matches. The first loss came to tourney host Wisconsin Parkside three sets to one, the second to nationally ranked Indianapolis three sets to nothing.

Day two was a new day and the Huskies came out with a vengeance. Saint Cloud dominated Quincy University three sets to none and closed out the tournament with a three sets to one win over Saint Josephs College. First year libero Sarah Madden had a career high 22 digs against Saint Josephs. Saint Cloud is now 4-8 on the season and opens the NSIC season against Winona State on Friday at Halenbeck Hall.
