St. Cloud Police arrested a man early Wednesday morning on charges of 1^st degree DWI, driving after cancellation, failure to yield to emergency vehicle and no proof of insurance. Officers stopped the driver at the intersection of 5^th Avenue Southeast and 10^th Street Southeast.   Their investigation revealed the vehicle’s driver, Ricky Gene Broberg was under the influence of alcohol. Broberg, of Waite Park, has three previous convictions for DWI within the last ten years.
