Archived: Warmest April in 95 Years

For those who enjoyed the warm weather in April, don’t expect the unseasonable conditions every year. April 2010 will go down in the books as the warmest April in St. Cloud in 95 years. According to St. Cloud State Meteorology Professor Bob Weisman, it was the warmest April since 1915 and the third warmest in history. The average temperature in April was 51 degrees, more than seven degrees warmer than normal. The average high temperature in St. Cloud last month was about 64 degrees, more than nine degrees warmer than normal. Weisman says now that April is over; expect colder weather for at least the first week of May.
