Central Minnesota is expected to be blasted with three to six inches of snow in this next winter storm according to St. Cloud State Meteorology Professor Bob Weisman. The storm is expected to begin late this evening and continue until mid-Saturday morning. The winter storm warning will be in effect until 6:00 am Sunday because of the extreme cold blowing snow that’s expected following the storm. Weisman says winds will be very strong during and after the storm, and Saturday’s wind chill values are expected to reach negative numbers.
