A Wisconsin man suffered facial injuries after a firework went off near his face in Collegeville over the holiday.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says that 41-year-old Daniel Rothestein of Dane, Wisconsin, was lighting fireworks when one went off and hit him in the head.

Cold Spring Fire and Rescue and Mayo Ambulance brought Rothestein to a local hospital for medical treatment after receiving a call of a medical emergency.
