St. Cloud Police went to a parking ramp in the 600 block of 1st Street to respond to an assault call early Monday morning. When officers arrived they found the victim, a 22-year-old woman who had injuries to her head. A police investigation revealed that the victim had been struck in the head with a spike heeled shoe.

Officers later found the suspect, identified as 25-year-old Enrique Alexander Garcia-Dormes of Wilmar and arrested him.Garcia-Dormes was taken to the Stearns county jail and faces charges of 2nd degree assault and domestic assault.
