A Sartell woman was found in the Mississippi River on Saturday. At 3 a.m. St. Cloud Police Officers responded to the 25000 block of Franklin Road for a woman who had been in the Mississippi River.

The woman, 19-year-old Maryann Stang of Sartell was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital Emergency Room to be treated for what appeared to be minor injuries and hypothermia. Stangs vehicle was found submerged in the Mississippi River near Franklin Road. It is undetermined who the driver of the vehicle was at the time it entered the river.

The incident is still under investigation and anyone with information should call the St. Cloud Police Department at 251-1200.
