The Women’s center at St. Cloud State is proud to welcome educator and community connector Vanessa Goodthunder on October 30^th in the Atwood Memorial Center Theater. 

Goodthunder is one of five native Dakota speakers remaining and works to keep the Dakota language alive through an immersion language preschool program.  

The event, Women on Wednesday: “Keeping Native Culture Strong” will include presentations about the power and promise of the Dakota Language. 

The Women’s Center will also bring diverse women and other programming to St. Cloud State to cover issues including political, social, legal and economic issues related to women and gender equity.
