Archived: Women’s Center Presents “Growing Up”
The SCSU Women’s Center, Students for Sexual Consent and Anna Marie’s alliance invite the campus community to Kim Salitros’ performance of “Growing Up: Living With Domestic and Sexual Violence.” Salitros is scheduled to perform on both Wednesday and Thursday night at 7 PM.
Salitros is a first-year SCSU student who also works at Anna Marie’s Alliance as a women’s advocate. Salitros’ performance explores the cycle of domestic and sexual abuse, and highlights the thought processes of both perpetrators and victims. Staff from the Women’s Center, Anna Marie’s Alliance and Students for Sexual Consent will be on hand to answer any questions after the performance.
The performance will take place in Eastman Hall 201, and is free to attend.
