A clean sheet of ice at National Hockey Center awaits the St. Cloud State women’s hockey team this afternoon. The team will take the ice for their first official practice of the year this afternoon to start preparation for their season which opens up in less than two weeks.

The Huskies are coming off a 1-33-1 season but have added many strong pieces and will look to the added year of experience for a young team to pay off in a drive for a more competitive season in the always rugged WCHA.

The Huskies takes the ice for their first game on September 30 in the East/West Showcase at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis. They will face Syracuse at 4 p.m. and KVSC will have the call via our Sports Stream online at KVSC.org.
