Workers to be Remembered with Highway Dedication

A section of I-94 from Sauk Centre to Alexandria will be receiving a new name, in honor of the two MnDOT workers who died nearly 50 years ago.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation staff and family members of Kenneth E. Sellon and Eugene B. Schlotfeldt will dedicate highway memorial signs in honor of the two, who were killed on November 14, 1968.

The section of the highway will now be called “Kenneth E. Sellon and Eugene B. Schlotfeldt Memorial Highway”.  A memorial will take place on Friday from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at the MnDOT St. Cloud Training Center.
