Winona LaDuke Podcast

winona_laduke.jpgWinona LaDuke visited St. Cloud State University in February 2005 as the keynote speaker for NOVA’s week on Non-Violence. LaDuke took the challenge from her cousin to talk about wild rice, endangered non-genetically modified seeds, and the war in Iraq in one hour. She does just that. The key question LaDuke asks is who is responsible for your future? Using her personal story she gives the listener tangible modes to make a difference in their own enviromental and energy choices.

The Harvard educated economist and mother of three has returned to Minnesota to work on the White Earth Land Recovery Project.
