Men’s Hockey swept by UND.

The SCSU Men’s hockey team was swept by the North Dakota Fighting Hawks this weekend.

In Friday’s game, North Dakota defeated SCSU 4-3.  Tyson Gross, Barrett Hall, and Gavyn Thorseon all scored for the Huskies in defeat.  The Fighting Hawks took an early lead and St. Cloud State tied it up, but two goals in the third period boosted UND to a win.

On Saturday, the Fighting Hawks beat the Huskies 4-2 in a chippy affair.  The Huskies were he

Jake Livanavage and Cade Littler each scored 2 goals.   Ryan Rosborough scored his first goal of the year for the Huskies and Finn Loftus scored his second.  UND’s Jake Livanavage scored a shorthanded goal and the Huskies went just one for 6 on the powerplay.

Volleyball Falls in Sweet-Sixteen.

The SCSU volleyball team had their season ended in the NCAA Sweet-sixteen on Saturday.

After beating Nebraska Kearney on Friday, the Huskies fell 2-3 to Concordia St. Paul.  Abby Wachol, Ella Thompson, Shelby Kimm, and Braya Laplant were each selected to the 2025 NCAA Central Region All-Tournament team.
