Bill Morgan and Adam Smith talk about FDR’s New Deal Program

In this podcast that originally aired in June of 2013, Arts & Cultural Heritage Producer Jeff Carmack talks with retired SCSU Professor Bill Morgan and the Stearns History Museum’s Adam Smith about FDR’s New Deal program and its effect upon central Minnesota. The Stearns History Museum and Research Center hosted the exhibit “Uncle Sam’s New Deal” through August 4th that detailed these projects. Through a discussion about this history of our area, we find parallels, similarities, and differences with a bygone era.

This program is funded in part by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Legacy Grant.
