The Untold Story of Ian Alexy’s Making It Shine Documentary
Ian Alexy makes up half of the Minnesota musical group Hobo Nephews of Uncle Frank along with his brother Teague, and since the COVID-19 pandemic began, he’s had a little time on his hands.
Luckily, over the past couple decades of performing, he’s collected quite a bit of video footage of his performances, and he’s now compiling that footage into a documentary called Making It Shine.
In today’s Untold Story of Central Minnesota, Arts & Cultural Heritage Producer Jeff Carmack talks with Ian about the documentary, which shares its name with his new album, as it relates to our current situation and the concerns that we all share during a possible resurgence of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States.
