SCPD investigates early morning stabbing in St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD, Minn. — The St. Cloud Police Department is investigating a domestic related stabbing that killed a man.
Around 4:05 a.m., on Monday, Dec. 8, SCPD officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Washington Memorial Drive for a report of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male with a stab wound. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, a 23-year-old female of St. Cloud, was at the residence when officers arrived. She was taken into custody without incident and is in police custody on charged related to the homicide.
Officers say no one else was at the scene and the suspect and victim were in a domestic relationship. SCPD has not released the identities of those involved.
The investigation remains active, and updates will come out as the investigation develops.
