St. Cloud State University is hosting a four day history conference called Northern Great Plains History Conference. The conference started Wednesday and will last thru Saturday at the Best Western Kelly Inn located in St. Cloud. SCSU faculty from multiple departments will be presenting papers, chairing sessions and providing commentary. Awards will be given out to university Graduate Students who submitted research papers and present them during the conference. Some of the other activities during this event include, a walking tour of St. Cloud, a walking tour of Saint John’s University and a field trip to Camp Ripley.
