Archived: Absentee Voting Underway For Stearns County Commissioner In District Five

Absentee Voting for the Commissioner District Five Special Election got underway last Friday.

Stearns County residents may cast an absentee ballot in person, at the Stearns County Administration Building or the Clerk’s Office in the City of Melrose.

Absentee balloting may also be done through the mail or fax. You can apply for an absentee ballot online at the Stearns County website.

Stearns County Auditor-Treasurer Randy Schreifels says to be eligible for absentee voting in the special election for the Stearns County Commissioner District Five, you must be absent from the precinct on election-day, have an illness or disability, or have a religious holiday.

The last day to cast an absentee ballot for January 28th election is Monday, January 27th.
