Archived: Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force Concludes Major Drug Investigation

A six month investigation into the possession and sale of methamphetamine came to a head this week for the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force.

According to information from the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force 19 people were arrested. The task force seized 818 grams of suspected methamphetamine through several drug dealer sting operations and search warrants. Law enforcement estimates the approximate street value of the meth seized to be worth $50,000.

Suspects were arrested on charges from possession, sales, and distribution of a controlled substance as well as firearms charges.

The investigation assisted by the FBI and other area law enforcement, spanned the cities of St. Cloud and Little Falls, also Stearns, Benton, and Morrison County.

 

Suspects arrested in the investigation:

1. Matthew Gilmer, 26, St. Cloud. 1st degree sales of controlled substances

2. James Benson, 30, Little Falls. Charged federally with conspiracy to distribute

3. Andrea Leabch, 25, Little Falls. 1st degree possession

4. Lazaro Diaz, 33, Willmar. 1st degree possession and felon in possession of firearm

5. Travis Eggerth, 32, St. Cloud. 1st degree sales of controlled substances

6. Jaimarie Meister, 30, St. Cloud. 1st degree sales of controlled substances

7. David Nowlan, 22, St. Cloud. 1st degree sales of controlled substances

8. Jackie Garcia-Alvarez, 30, St Cloud. 2nd degree sales of controlled substances

9. Ryan Swartley, 31, St. Cloud. 2nd degree sales of controlled substances

10. Kristen Kolbe, 22, St. Cloud. 2nd degree sales of controlled substances

11. Daniel Hollis, 25, St. Cloud. 3rd degree sales of controlled substances

12. Mildred Spoden, 66, St. Cloud. 5th degree possession

13. Stacie Condos, 31, St. Cloud. 1st degree possession

14. Richard Fujimoto, 41, St. Cloud. 1st degree possession

15. Anthony Nilson, 33, St. Cloud. 2nd degree possession

16. Jeremy Munson, 30 , St. Cloud. 1st degree sale of controlled substances

The three suspects below were arrested on existing warrants.

17. Melanie Quick, 19, Sauk Rapids

18. Christopher Schuman, 26, Little Falls

19. Samantha Barrett, 21, St. Cloud
