Archived: Central Minnesota Violent Offenders Task Force Finds Meth At Cold Spring Residence

The Central Minnesota Violent Offenders Task Force arrested two Cold Spring residents Friday after finding methamphetamine in their home. The task force conducted a search warrant based on an ongoing investigation at 14905 Fiesta Lane in Wakefield Township.

When the task force searched the home they allegedly found a handgun, over 4,000 dollars in cash, and two pounds of suspected methamphetamine.

36-year-old Tomas Marquez Hermosillo and 34-year-old Angelina Gonzalez Ramirez were both arrested and face possible possession of First Degree Controlled Substance charges.

Three minor children were home during the search and placed in protective custody with Stearns County Human Services.

The meth recovered from the home has an estimated street value of 60,000 dollars.

The task force was assisted by the Cold Spring Police Department, the Stearns-Benton SERT team and the local office of the FBI.
