Archived: Coborn’s And CashWise To Sell Donuts For Charity

Starting Thursday Coborn’s and CashWise grocery stores will team up with the Salvation Army to donate money to homeless youth shelters in the area.

The grocery stores will donate one dollar to the Salvation Army every time a customer buys a specially marked box of donuts.

The offer will last Thursday through Saturday in honor of National Donut Day. The Salvation Army says the proceeds will help provide activities for children staying at the shelter including a recreation room, computer lab and an outdoor play area.
