A crash involving a car and a semi-truck has left one person dead and another with serious injuries. The accident occurred at the intersection of Benton County Road 12 and Benton County Road 78 near Rice. The crash happened Tuesday morning just before 8:00 a.m.
According to the Benton County Sheriff’s office, a car driven by 79-year-old Carol Theis of Pierz was driving south on County Road 78 when she came to a stop at the intersection.
