Husky Fan Fest 2014 kicks off Saturday with events and activities planned around St. Cloud State football’s home opener against Wayne State Coellge.

Huskies Fan fest tailgating is scheduled for noon until the 3:00 p.m. kickoff. Tailgating festivities has been moved to the Husky Pay Lot, just outside the south gate of Husky Stadium. For the first time, a beer tent, approved by the city of St. Cloud will be open to tailgaters.

After the game, The Smithereens will rock Husky Stadium with a post game concert slated for 7:00 p.m.

Other activities happening this week are the Color Vibe 5-K run at 8:30 a.m., along with the cross-fit competition Granite Games.
