Lilly Ledbetter Coming To SCSU In October

The SCSU Women’s Center invites you to attend an event that features Lilly Ledbetter.
Lilly Ledbetter is the namesake of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009. The Fair Pay Act was signed into law by President Barack Obama on January 29th, 2009. The Act was the first new law of his administration. Ledbetter has become a national figure in the continuing fight for pay equity and equal opportunity for women in the workplace.
The event will take place on Tuesday, October 9th starting at 7 p.m. in the Ballroom at the Atwood Memorial Center. The event is free and open to the public.
