More than 260 Central Minnesota students will present their exhibits, documentaries and performances at the regional History Day event this Saturday.

Student exhibits and performances from grades 6-12 will explore the theme “Turning Points in History: People, Ideas, Events”. The event is part of a statewide program co-sponsored by the Minnesota Historical Society and University of Minnesota history department.

Winners of the regional events will advance to the State History Day at the University of Minnesota. This local History Day Event is sponsored by the SCSU history department.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 3 p.m. in the Atwood Memorial Center.
