Repeat Drunk Driver Arrested Again

A man was arrested Wednesday afternoon for driving while intoxicated.
According to the Stearns County Sheriff’s report, a Deputy stopped to assist a driver who appeared to be having vehicle problems on County Road 7 in St. Augusta.
The deputy determined that the driver, 46-year-old Kenneth John Hoffman of South Haven, appeared to be intoxicated and had several open containers of alcohol in the vehicle and his driver’s license was a Cancelled-Inimical to Public Safety.
According to the report, the deputy learned that Hoffman had at least 5 prior Driving While Intoxicated convictions and was immediately arrested on charges of 1st Degree Felony DWI, driving after Cancellation-harm to Public Safety and Open Container.
Hoffman is currently being held in the Stearns County Jail.
