Sauk Rapids Man Beaten And Robbed Early Sunday Morning

Early Sunday morning St. Cloud Police were called to the St. Cloud Hospital for a man who said that he had been robbed and beaten. The victim, a 27-year-old man from Sauk Rapids, said he was robbed, punched, and kicked in the head at the 100 block of 6th Avenue South.
According to the police report, a group of black men told the victim that he was at the wrong place at the wrong time right before the assault. The victim had several items taken from him during the assault after being knocked unconscious. The victim received medical treatment for his non-life threatening injuries.
