Archived: Sauk Rapids Man Sentenced To 27 Years In Prison For Sex Trafficking

A Sauk Rapids man was sentenced to 27 years in prison this week for sex trafficking multiple women in Stearns County.

During an investigation in the summer of 2015, the Central Minnesota Sex Trafficking Task Force received statements from three women who said 41-year-old Israel Davis of Sauk Rapids had trafficked them.

One woman said she was convinced into multiple acts of prostitution during a six month span and assaulted as well. All of the women noted that Davis provided drugs to them.

Davis was convicted of ten counts of sex trafficking related charges before Judge Frederick Grunke in Stearns County District Court.
