With our first peak at winter earlier this week, Saint Cloud State is reminding the campus community the policy on class and event cancellations. The university tries to get the word out on daytime cancellations before 6 a.m. and evening cancellations by 3 p.m. These announcements are sent out through e-mail, the web and local radio and TV stations, including KVSC.

Employees are still expected to come to work when classes or events are cancelled—unless otherwise noted. During actual closings, only designated “essential” employees are asked to work.
