Archived: SCSU Spring Commencement This Sunday At Herb Brooks National Hockey Center

St. Cloud State University is holding spring commencement ceremonies this Sunday in the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.

The graduation ceremonies for students in the Herberger Business School, School of Health and Human Services and School of Public Affairs are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.

Students from the School of Education, College of Liberal Arts, School of the Arts as well as the College of Science and Engineering and School of Computing ceremonies are scheduled for 3:00 p.m.

The guest of honor is vice chancellor at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa and civil rights activist, Derrick Swartz. NMMU is a host university for one of St. Cloud State’s study abroad programs. Swartz helped the South African government in establishing a democratic society in South Africa.

Campus parking lots and 4th Avenue Parking Ramp will be free all Sunday.
