A 31-year-old St. Cloud man was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. At around 10:00 Thursday night, St. Cloud Police went to the 1300 block of 14th Street North where a 25-year-old woman reported that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend, Frank Whitesell. Police say Whitesell ran away before they got there, but officers found him and arrested him. The woman received minor injuries. Whitesell is being held in the Stearns County Jail on charges of assault, obstructing the legal process, and disorderly conduct.
