St. Cloud Man In Hospital After Assault

The St. Cloud Police Department was called to the St. Cloud Hospital on Sunday morning for a burglary that had happened in the 900 block of 2nd Street North. According to the police report officers spoke with the victim, a 41-year-old resident of St. Cloud who said that he was walking eastbound on the pedestrian bridge behind the post office when a black man and women approached him from behind.

According to the victim the black man punched him one time, causing serious but non-life threatening injuries. The suspect then stole property from the victim before leaving the scene.

The suspect was described as a black man in his mid-twenties, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a stocky build and wearing a white t-shirt and blue jean shorts. The women with the suspect was described as being around 18 years old, about 5 feet tall with a thin build and wearing pink shorts and a pink shirt.

Anyone with information as to where the suspects are located is asked to call St. Cloud Police at 251-1200.
