St. Cloud Police Department is investigating two unrelated reports of gun shots in the area.

The first incident took place in the 1300 block of 12th Avenue North in St. Cloud around 5:30 July 8. St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says officers responded to a 21-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his legs.

Sergeant Burke says while no arrests have been made, they believe it was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.

In the second incident officers responded to reports of gunshots in the 200 block of 33rd Avenue South around 7:30 p.m. yesterday. Sergeant Burke says The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force has taken the lead on the investigation. No more information has been released at this time.
