Stearns County Sheriff's Called To One Vehicle Rollover

On Thursday afternoon, the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office were called to a one vehicle rollover on County Road 157, west of Freeport.
According to the police report, 43-year-old Amr Hanafy was approaching a slow left curve in the roadway and drove onto the shoulder of the road. Hanafy then over-corrected and veered to the center line and over corrected again which made the vehicle roll multiple times down the road and entered the south ditch rolling once more.
Hanafy was taken to the Melrose Hospital by Melrose Ambulance. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Freeport Fire and Rescue, Melrose Ambulance and an office with the Department of Natural Resources.
