On Tuesday, the Stearns County Board of Commissioners honored the 2012 Volunteer of the Year, Cliff Borgerding.  For more than 10 years Borgerding has assisted with developing support to expand the Lake Wobegon Trail and connections to the trail.

He has also volunteered as coordinator of the Caramel Roll Ride, served as President of the Lake Wobegon Trails Inc for four years and is also a very active volunteer in his church as well as in his hometown community of Avon.

As the Volunteer of the Year recipient, Borgerding received recognition and a plaque.
