Archived: Golfers Perform Well At UIU Invite

 MEN’S GOLF: The men’s golf team finished just three strokes off of the team lead at the Upper Iowa Spring Invite in Waterloo, Iowa on Saturday.   The team posted a two-day score of 612, just behind the team champion Minnesota State-Mankato. Senior Jordan Dickey led the Huskies with a score of 151, which was good for fifth place. Mitch Means and Billy Barnhart also placed in the top ten overall for the Huskies.   Next up on the men’s golf schedule is a trip to South Dakota for the Augustana Invite on April 14th and 15th.   WOMEN’S GOLF:  The women’s golfers finished in sixth place at the Upper Iowa Spring Invite over the weekend.   The women posted a two-day score of 697, while Augustana won the title with a score of 642. Senior Emily Kerber finished tied for eighth place with a score of 164.   Next up for the women’s golf team is the NSIC Spring Championship on April 14th and 15th in Lake City, MN.
