Archived: Four Men Arrested After Sex Trafficking Operation At St. Cloud Hotel

Multiple people were arrested during a sex trafficking operation in St. Cloud on Nov. 3.

Sergeant Jason Burke says local police partnered with other departments to target the demand for child prostitutes. Undercover officers posted online ads to lure people in who were trying to have sexual encounters with young girls.

The effort was called Operation Guardian Angel.

As a result of the ads, authorities arrested four men offering money to have sex with girls they believed were juveniles. The subjects who showed up to a St. Cloud hotel were taken into custody.

Ryan Mulliner, 39, of St. Cloud, Samuel Kalkbrenner, 25, of Amery, Wisc., Dwight Lorensen, 61, of Litchfield, and Bradley Nelson, 25, of Foley, are all facing felony charges. All four men were released at the scene. They face charges of solicitation of a minor.

Minneapolis, Woodbury, St. Paul and Plymouth Police Departments helped SCPD in this operation.
