Man Arrested Near Holdingford After Swerving to Miss a Deer

A Bowlus man has been arrested after crashing his car while trying to avoid hitting a deer,

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says that they have arrested 23-year-old Jacob Michael Kedrowski for suspected DWI and 5th degree controlled substance.

Kedrowski was driving in the early morning hours on Saturday near Holdingford when he swerved his car to miss a deer. He crossed over the median and went into the ditch before attempting to correct his course and get back on the roadway where he eventually rolled his car onto the road.

Kedrowski was able to get out of the car by himself and did not need any medical attention. He was taken to the Stearns County Jail where he is being held on his charges.
