The Stearns County Attorney’s Office has formally charged all 19 students with crimes that were involved in the fight at Tech High School last week.

Eighteen of the students were charged with Riot in the third degree, with one student being charged with Riot in the second degree. The student receiving the second degree charge was the one who pulled out a knife during the fight. That same student also received charges of Terroristic Threats and a Dangerous Weapons on school property charge.

One student involved had his nose broken during the fight. As a result of the broken nose, four students were charged with aid and abetting assault in the 3^rd degree for causing the injury.

All of the students will appear before a judge for the charges they’re facing and will not be returning to Tech High School for the remainder of this year.
