St. Cloud State is deeply mourning the loss of a well-liked university leader. Todd DeVriese, dean of SCSU’s College of Fine Arts and Humanities, has passed away while on a US Department of Education-sponsored trip to India. SCSU President Dr. Earl H. Potter III says DeVriese was an impassioned leader who made a significant impact during his time at St. Cloud State. DeVriese came to SCSU in mid-2009 from Texas Tech University where he was director of the School of Art.

"In times like these we need to remember to take care of each other," said Dr. Potter.
