Stearns County is recognizing people who deliver lifesaving care this week. This year’s theme for National Emergency Medical Services, or "EMS" Week, is “Anytime, Anywhere, We’ll Be There.” EMS is a system of care for victims of sudden illness or injury. Stearns County has 53 EMS agencies, which consist of fire departments, first responder units, ambulance services and police departments.
