Ribbon Cutting Ceremony For The Highway 23 Paynesville Bypass On Thursday

In celebration of the completion of the Highway 23 Paynesville Bypass the city of Paynesville will host a ribbon cutting event on Thursday, August 23rd.
The new bypass opened on Friday, July 20th more than a month ahead of schedule. Drivers traveling east on Highway 23 now access Paynesville on Veterans Drive and westbound access remains the same. The Highway 23 Paynesville Bypass will improve mobility and safety for drivers travelling along the Highway 23 corridor and allows Highway 23 to remain an important connection between Willmar and St. Cloud.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will start at 11 a.m. at the Paynesville American Legion which is located at 770 W. Business Highway 23.
