On Tuesday night St. Cloud Police were called to the 1500 block of 15th Avenue Southeast. Prior to the arrival of officers a 26-year-old St. Cloud woman had gotten into a verbal argument with the suspect, her boyfriend, 24-year-old Christopher Lee Cannon from St. Cloud. There was an active domestic abuse no contact order in place between the two and Cannon left the scene before officers arrived.

Police made contact with Cannon later in the evening at the 700 block of St. Germain Street East after a short foot chase. Cannon was taken to the Sherburne County Jail where he is being held on charges of felony domestic abuse no contact order violation, misdemeanor fleeing on foot, a felony warrant for failure to appear, a gross misdemeanor warrant for domestic abuse violation probation and a misdemeanor warrant for driving after suspension.
