St. Cloud officers were sent to Lincoln Elementary Tuesday afternoon for a report of a man with a gun. A person in the school noticed the gun and reported it to school officials. Police were called and the school went into lockdown while the situation was investigated. Police say that the man was there to pick up a child, who was a relative, and that he had a permit to carry the gun. When he realized he still had the gun he left to put it in his car. Investigation also revealed that the gun was in the holster the whole time and no one was threatened. No criminal charges are pending this matter.
